Evaluation

1 Screen Platformer launched on March 6, 2019 and received a handful of post-launch updates: a major patch in April 2019 (bug fixes and gameplay improvements), a new playable character (Gun Miner) added for free in January 2020, and a quality-of-life update (leaderboards, resolution options, fall-through platforms) in June 2020. On July 23, 2020, the developer released a free standalone demo called "1 Screen Platformer Prologue" — a preview of the sequel, 1 Screen Platformer 2 — and this appears to be the last content released for the original game. The store page still carries a "sequel is coming soon" banner referencing 1 Screen Platformer 2, but that sequel is a separate product, not additional content for this game. There have been no developer communications about this game since July 2020, no unreleased DLC is listed, and no roadmap or future content commitments for the base game have been stated. The developer's energy clearly shifted toward the sequel. The game shipped as a compact, finished platformer and has received no content updates since July 23, 2020.

As commander of the Geodesic Celestial Liberation Front antiquities wing, Nadia Stormhammer must get in and stay alive long enough to rescue the sacred skull of dura'thum. The faster you can get in and escape the better. Honor to those with the best times.

The mission of chief reconnaissance officer Vez Rendoux is to survey the best path through the temple. Grab the holographic nav orbs without getting killed. One mis-step and Vez has to retrace his steps to the last checkpoint and recapture the nav orbs. Collect, survive.

It is buried deep within the temple of the lava-worshiping cult known as the Guthra-dun. The self-defense systems pulsates and snaps to life as soon as Nadia, Vez, and Subject X95c step foot on the planet.

Are you cunning enough to navigate this tough-as-hell platformer and reach the end.
