01 What this site does

Is It Done Yet? is an independent editorial resource that catalogs video games and assesses their development completeness status. The Site answers a simple question: has a game’s developer shipped everything they have announced or committed to?

The Site is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any game developer, publisher, or distribution platform.

02 AI-generated assessments

Game status assessments on this Site are generated using artificial intelligence (large language models) that analyze publicly available developer communications including blog posts, patch notes, store page updates, and official announcements.

You acknowledge and agree that:

• Assessments are automated analyses, not guarantees of accuracy or completeness.
• A game’s status may change at any time due to new developer announcements, unannounced content, or corrections to prior assessments.
• Assessments reflect the state of publicly available developer communications at the time of evaluation and may not account for information that has not yet been made public.
• You should not rely solely on the Site’s assessments when making purchasing decisions. We encourage you to verify information through official developer channels before buying.

We make reasonable efforts to keep assessments current, but we do not guarantee that every game’s status is up to date at all times.

03 Third-party content

All game titles, logos, artwork, screenshots, and related media displayed on the Site are the property of their respective developers and publishers. The Site does not host copies of these assets; game imagery is linked directly from publisher-authorized content delivery networks. If a game or its assets are removed at the source, they cease to appear on the Site automatically.

These materials are displayed for informational and editorial purposes under principles of fair use. If you are a rights holder and believe your intellectual property is being used improperly, please see our DMCA & Copyright Notice page.

Original content on the Site — including but not limited to the site design, status taxonomy, assessment methodology, and editorial text — is the property of Is It Done Yet? and may not be reproduced without permission.

04 Content reports

The Site provides a reporting mechanism for users to flag game content that may be illegal or harmful. This feature is intended solely for reporting potentially illegal or harmful content — not for disputing assessment accuracy or editorial decisions.

By submitting a report, you acknowledge that:

• Submitting a report does not guarantee that any specific action will be taken, or that action will be taken within any specific timeframe.
• We review all reports and determine at our sole discretion what constitutes a violation and what response is appropriate.
• Abusing the report system — including submitting frivolous, bad-faith, or repetitive reports — may result in your reports being disregarded.
• Reports involving potentially illegal content may be forwarded to law enforcement or other appropriate authorities.
• The content report form is not a substitute for a formal DMCA takedown notice. For copyright infringement claims, please use the process described on our DMCA & Copyright Notice page.

05 Donations

The Site accepts voluntary donations through third-party platforms (such as Ko-fi or Patreon). Donations are entirely voluntary, non-refundable, and do not entitle donors to any specific services, features, or influence over editorial content. Donation processing is handled by the respective third-party platform and is subject to that platform’s own terms of service.

06 Affiliate links and advertising

The Site includes affiliate links to third-party storefronts. When you click an affiliate link and make a purchase, we earn a small commission at no additional cost to you. Affiliate links are identified on each game page with a disclosure statement.

We currently participate in the Green Man Gaming affiliate program through the Impact affiliate network. Additional store partnerships may be added in the future.

Affiliate relationships do not influence game status assessments. Evaluations are generated independently by our automated pipeline based on publicly available developer communications. Whether or not a game has an affiliate link has no bearing on its completeness verdict, evaluation priority, or visibility on the Site.

07 External links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (game storefronts, developer blogs, news outlets, donation platforms, etc.). We are not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or availability of any third-party sites. Following external links is at your own risk.

08 Disclaimer of warranties

The Site and its content are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

We do not warrant that:

• The Site will be available uninterrupted or error-free.
• Assessments or other content will be accurate, complete, or current.
• The Site will be free of viruses or other harmful components.

09 Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Is It Done Yet? and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, arising from:

• Your use of or inability to use the Site.
• Any purchasing decisions made based on information provided by the Site.
• Any inaccuracies or errors in game status assessments.
• Any unauthorized access to or alteration of your data.

10 User conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations.
• Attempt to interfere with the Site’s operation, including through automated scraping at a volume that degrades performance for other users.
• Misrepresent the Site’s assessments as official statements from game developers or publishers.
• Use the Site’s content to harass, defame, or disparage game developers or their communities.
• Abuse the content reporting system by submitting frivolous, bad-faith, or repetitive reports.

11 Changes to these terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

12 Governing law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
