Dead Sea (by 199CentsSTUDIO) launched on Steam Early Access on March 25, 2015. The game is no longer available for purchase — there are no active purchase options on the store. Development was consistently troubled. By January 2016, the studio disclosed that only two developers remained on the project and that features had been cut to reduce scope. In April 2016, the developer acknowledged a 7-month content drought and announced they were pausing development to seek funding and investors via Kickstarter. Despite these setbacks, a major gameplay overhaul was described in December 2016, and as recently as July 8, 2017, the developer posted that the game was "90% complete" with Episode 1 of a planned 5-episode structure nearly ready for release. That July 2017 post is the last recorded developer communication. The promised Episode 1 update, and any subsequent episodes, never shipped as far as the available record shows. The game remained in Early Access and has since been removed from sale. With no purchase options available, the game is delisted.
