20,000 Miles Under the Sea launched on July 27, 2020 as a small idle horror game. The developer shipped two patches in the days immediately following launch — a first-day patch on July 28, 2020 and a follow-up update on July 31, 2020 addressing crashes, performance, and minor interface features. There have been no developer communications of any kind since July 31, 2020. The game has one DLC, a soundtrack that was released on launch day. No additional content has ever been announced, no roadmap was published, and no future updates have been promised. The store description's prize contest was time-limited and expired on August 31, 2020. This game launched as a compact, self-contained experience and has received no post-launch content activity beyond those two early stability patches.
