Evaluation
24 Killers launched on March 9, 2023 and received a healthy run of post-launch updates. Two named content updates shipped: the Winter "Reunion" Update on December 27, 2023 (adding a new late-game side quest and new items) and the Summer Update on June 26, 2024 (adding QoL systems, new music, and visual improvements). In addition to those, the developer shipped numerous feature patches and bug fixes throughout 2023–2024.
The developer has been transparent about where the game now stands. In a March 19, 2025 post, Todd explicitly stated he did not want to get players' hopes up "for future content updates or major gameplay changes," saying he was starting to focus on new projects. A July 5, 2025 post confirmed that a planned performance optimization had been paused because the developer has a full-time job outside of game development and has chosen to direct his limited free time toward a new puzzle game instead. A December 28, 2025 post reaffirmed that a new game is actively in progress and made no mention of any returning development on 24 Killers.
The sole DLC listed — the official soundtrack — was released on March 11, 2023 and is fully shipped. No unreleased DLC exists on the store. Taken together, the developer's own statements make clear that content development for 24 Killers has concluded, with the Summer Update on June 26, 2024 representing the game's final content release.

About this game
Explore a desert island full of oddities and misfits as Home, a cursed super intelligence bound to a soldier's corpse by an alien named Moon. This happy shabby world is inspired by Love-de-Lic classics and beloved RPGs such as Digimon World and Mario RPG.
Transform into monsters you rescue to use abilities like super strength, lightning speed, and stealth as you help Moon care for the island's inhabitants.
Collect mysterious spirits called Whispers. As Home gains new abilities, Whispers will change and have a minigame unique to their type. The shops around the island have adopted Whispers as currency, and Moon is able to harness them as an energy source. Collect more Whispers by drinking "Shabstars" and observing Blood Moons!
Unlock a unique mod or "Blessing" for each save file. Blessings are optional modifications to the game rules that add extra challenge, help you complete future playthroughs faster, or change up the story. When you unlock a save file's Blessing, it will be available to use in all future playthroughs.
