7 Days to End with You launched on February 6, 2022 as a compact narrative puzzle game. It received one significant content update on January 26, 2023, coinciding with its Nintendo Switch release under new publisher PLAYISM. That update added brand-new endings, new character reactions, controller support, a gallery mode, and other features — bringing the Steam version up to parity with the Switch release. No further content updates have been announced or shipped since then. The developer's more recent posts have focused on a separate game, Refind Self: The Personality Test Game (released November 2023 on Steam, October 2024 on Switch). The only post touching on 7 Days to End with You after January 2023 was a routine security patch on October 9, 2025, which the developer explicitly noted contained no additions or changes to game content.
