A Night Duty launched on November 22, 2024 and has received consistent updates ever since. In the weeks after launch, the developer quickly shipped patches addressing lighting performance, UI clarity, and small quality-of-life features. Development continued at pace through mid-2026: on June 10, 2026, the developer announced they had begun work on a major renewal pass (Version 3.0.0), explicitly stating their intent to keep improving the game. This was followed by the Codex feature update on June 23, 2026 — a new in-game reference system helping players understand the South Korean military context — and a sweeping language expansion on June 27, 2026 bringing the game to 25+ languages. Most recently, on July 20, 2026, the developer announced a collaborative bundle with Finnish Army Simulator, partnering with another indie military game studio. The developer has not announced specific upcoming DLC or expansions by name, but the sustained cadence of substantive updates and the developer's own stated intention to continue improving the game signal that this is still an actively evolving product.
