A Plague Tale: Requiem launched on October 17, 2022 as a complete, self-contained narrative game. Its only DLC — the Protector Pack — was a cosmetic bundle released on launch day, not post-launch story content. Post-launch updates were purely technical: Steam Deck compatibility (November 9, 2022), Ray Tracing support (January 18, 2023), and a Performance Mode update (May 10, 2023). No story expansions, season pass, or content roadmap were ever announced for the game.
Developer communications in 2025 and 2026 announced and detailed Resonance: A Plague Tale Legacy, a separate standalone prequel releasing August 27, 2026 on its own Steam page. This is an entirely new product in the series, not an addition to Requiem. A gameplay trailer posted July 22, 2026 confirmed Resonance's August 27 release date. None of these posts announce any new content for Requiem itself.
Requiem shipped as a finished single-player narrative experience with no planned post-launch content, and nothing communicated since launch changes that assessment.
