Evaluation
A Trip to Yugoslavia: Director's Cut launched on February 22, 2017 as a complete, self-contained FMV interactive game. The Steam version launched with exclusive bonus content already included — 12 extra minutes of gameplay, three new endings, and additional achievements — positioning it as the definitive release of the game from day one.
The developer shipped one significant post-launch update on May 19, 2018 (version 2.0), which improved performance, UI, FMV quality, and added a minigame and related achievements. No further content updates for this game have been released since then.
From February 2025 onward, the developer's communications have focused entirely on a new, separate project called One Rotten Oath — a different FMV game that released on November 28, 2025. The developer explicitly framed this as a return to game development after a five-year absence and described A Trip to Yugoslavia as a past milestone, not an ongoing project. There is no announced or unreleased content for A Trip to Yugoslavia: Director's Cut, and the developer has moved on to other work.
Evidence
Developer returned from a five-year hiatus to announce a new FMV project (One Rotten Oath), thanking fans for supporting A Trip to Yugoslavia. No new content for ATtY: DC mentioned.
Version 2.0 update shipped with UI, performance, and FMV quality improvements, plus a new minigame and achievements. Last content update for the game.
