A.A.U. Black Site entered Steam Early Access on May 21, 2026, launching with Chapters 1 and 2. At launch, Raspberry Studio explicitly laid out their post-launch roadmap: Chapter 3 ("Beneath the Rotten Sky"), level expansions, controller support, and full keybinding customization are all planned but not yet delivered. Since launch, the studio has maintained an active update cadence. A feature patch on June 11, 2026 (v0.11) added a reworked gore system, a new grenade launcher for testing, a day/night cycle tool, and a reload cancel mechanic. A localization update on June 19, 2026 expanded subtitle support to 17 languages. Most recently, on July 17, 2026, the developer posted a detailed preview of an Enemy AI overhaul — explicitly described as coming in the "next major update" — demonstrating that substantial development work is ongoing and that additional content updates are imminent. The game remains in Early Access with named, unshipped content still ahead of it and a developer that is communicating regularly and shipping updates consistently.
