Evaluation

Above The Clouds - Episode 1 released on September 27, 2023. From the outset, the developer designed this as a two-part series: both the store description and a developer post from September 7, 2023 state that Episode 2 — described as "the final one" — would be released in Q1 2024. Following launch, the developer delivered on some early promises: achievements were added on September 28, 2023, and a Russian translation was added on October 6, 2023. All developer communication stopped after October 6, 2023 — that is nearly three years before today's date of October 1, 2026. Q1 2024 came and went with no Episode 2 release and no statement from the developer about a delay, cancellation, or change of plans. The store description still actively advertises Episode 2 as coming "soon," but the developer has made no official communication of any kind since October 6, 2023. With the promised sequel now roughly two and a half years overdue and no word from Mundo Games, there is serious uncertainty about whether Episode 2 is still in development.

Evidence

Russian translation added. This is the last developer communication on record — no posts of any kind after this date.
