Accel is a free-to-play arcade game released on February 12, 2019, created as a student group project by Objectif 3D, a game design school in Montpellier, France. The store description explicitly frames this as a school project — a finished product created to demonstrate student skills to potential employers. The game describes a fixed scope: 3 levels, 4 ships, and a scoring mode. There is no mention of planned updates, future content, DLC, or ongoing development. No developer news posts or updates have been identified, which is consistent with the nature of a completed student project. The game shipped as a self-contained, finished product on its release date.
