Accident launched into full release on September 21, 2021, graduating from Early Access with a new Czech Republic scenario, video cutscenes for all existing maps, bug fixes, and Turkish language support. Following the 1.0 launch, developer activity on this game's Steam page has been sparse: a console port announcement in August 2022 and a Nintendo Switch release in September 2022 represent the most notable post-launch communications. The announcements in January 2024 relate to a separate game in the series — "Plane Accident" — rather than new content for Accident itself. Several other news posts visible on Duality Games' feed (such as Barn Finders VR and Dinosaur Fossil Hunter DLC) are cross-promotions for the studio's other titles and have no bearing on Accident's content status. No DLC has been listed for Accident on the store. No roadmap, season pass, or future content announcement has been made for the game. The developer has not communicated any plans for additional Accident content since the console ports in September 2022. The game appears to have shipped as a complete, self-contained product and has received no further content since its 1.0 release.

Become a journalist who researches old car accident cases. Help victims and perform first aid, obtain evidence and reconstruct the events to discover what really happened. This game contains blood scenes with victims of car accidents.

Examine the victims

Evaluate the victims' condition and get to work! Are they breathing? Do they have any serious wounds? Anything might be crutial to their survival. Provide first aid, control the bleeding, check for pulse and put them in recovery position if you can. Do whatever is necessary depending on nature of the emergency.

Make decisions

Who to help first? How to do it the best way? By helping the wrong way, you can put other people's life in danger, or even your own. Think twice but remember - time's running out!

Rewind time

You made a bad choice? Didn't manage to save all the wounded victims? You have a chance to fix that! Turn back time and try again.
