Aeruta launched its full 1.0 release on November 5, 2025, graduating from an approximately 18-month Early Access period. The full release brought substantial new content including a third island, a new weapon, a challenge mode, and the Patti Ranch system. Since launch, the developer FromDawn Games has stayed active. A feature patch (Ver. 1.1.0) arrived on December 18, 2025, followed by a major collaboration update (Ver. 1.2.0) on February 12, 2026, which added a Portal Dungeon crossover quest, a new boss, exclusive items, and a post-endgame epilogue. On May 21, 2026, the developer announced a paid DLC collaboration with the classic MMORPG Ragnarok Online at the BitSummit PUNCH indie game event — including a playable demo of the content. This DLC will introduce a new map ("Prontera South Gate"), iconic monsters like Poring and Lunatic, new bosses, and an entirely new story chapter set after the main game's ending. No release date has been given yet. Most recently, on July 30, 2026, the developer announced that Aeruta is coming to PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch, along with a physical Collector's BOX for Japan and Asia. Crucially, the developer explicitly stated that "post-launch updates and future DLC development for the PC version will continue alongside our console preparations," confirming that Steam players will continue to receive new content.
