Affected Zone Tactics

Affected Zone Tactics launched on November 17, 2015 as a free-to-play cooperative turn-based tactical game. After launch, the developer shipped a series of updates through 2016 and into early 2017, adding new maps, arena modes, balance changes, and a credits-to-gold exchange system. The last content update was posted on April 7, 2017. Critically, the game's store page has always listed a substantial set of features as "coming soon," including clan hierarchy, advanced clan wars, player and clan bases, story PvE missions against monsters, and a global map with territory control. These features were advertised at launch in 2015 and remain undelivered to this day. The last developer communication of any kind was a brief post on January 31, 2019, noting that a payment processing issue had been resolved. Since then — more than seven years as of June 2026 — the developer has posted nothing. No updates, no roadmap revisions, no explanation of whether the promised features are still in development. The game continues to be available for purchase and the store page still lists those undelivered features, but there is no evidence that work on them is ongoing or that the developer is still actively engaged with the project.
