Aground Zero

Aground Zero launched out of Early Access on April 4, 2025, after roughly a year of Early Access development during which the developer shipped substantial content — multiplayer, two story endings (Science Path and Magic Path), spaceships, dragons, space exploration, and more. On January 31, 2025, the developer explicitly stated that the Magic Path ending was "the last major planned content update," noting they would continue making bug fix and quality-of-life updates but that major content work was complete. This was reinforced in the full launch post on April 4, 2025, where the developer directly answered the question "Will there be post-launch updates?" with: "Maybe! I've finished what I wanted to do story-wise, and I'm not currently planning any major content updates." The post-launch updates visible in the news feed (versions 1.0.1 and 1.0.2) are minor patches — translation fixes, balance tweaks, and small bug corrections — consistent with the developer's stated maintenance-only posture. No DLC has been listed, no future content has been announced, and the developer has clearly communicated that the story and major content goals have been fulfilled. The game launched as a complete package on April 4, 2025.
