Evaluation

AHEGAL launched on October 11, 2018 as a finished bullet-hell game featuring 21 boss fights, 6 characters, and a fixed set of content described in the store listing. A performance patch shipped on October 22, 2018, and a content update adding a new character (Emi), achievements, easy mode, and upgrades followed on February 10, 2020 — the last substantive update to the game itself. There has been no developer communication about AHEGAL specifically since then. The February 2024 post tagged as major content was actually a promotional link to images related to a different game (FreshWomen, App ID 1350650), not new content for AHEGAL. Similarly, the May 2022 development status post discussed the FreshWomen team expansion, not AHEGAL. The store description presents a fixed feature set with no mention of upcoming content, seasons, or planned additions. With no unreleased DLC, no outstanding developer commitments, and no update activity on the game since February 2020, the game appears to have shipped as a complete product.

Evidence

Content update adding a new playable character (Emi), achievements, easy mode, and upgrades — the last update to the game itself.
