Evaluation
Albert and Otto launched on October 28, 2015 as the first of a planned four-episode series. The developer communicated at launch that additional episodes were planned, with the original announcement describing a four-episode structure at $4.99 each. However, in the years following release, no additional episodes were ever announced, listed, or shipped. All developer activity after launch focused on patching and polishing Episode 1: updates v1.1 through v1.4 (November–December 2015) added story content, art assets, controller support, trading cards, and bug fixes. The only DLC released was the Original Soundtrack on November 24, 2015.
The most recent developer post relevant to Albert and Otto was on May 23, 2018, where the developer mentioned returning to make sequels to other games in their catalog — but made no mention of any future Albert and Otto episodes. The store description still references a "3 episode" story arc, but no episodes beyond the first have ever materialized, and the developer has been silent on this game specifically since 2018. The last meaningful content update to the game was v1.4 on December 5, 2015.
There are no unreleased DLC entries, no roadmap, no developer statement of ongoing work on this game, and no sustained post-launch content cadence beyond the early patch activity in the weeks after launch. The game appears to have shipped as a self-contained first episode with no further installments ever produced. The content as it exists today has been final since December 2015.

About this game
In this first installment “The Adventure Begins” the player is thrown headfirst into a haunting world set in 1939 Germany in search of a mysterious girl with bunny ears.
Clues as to who she is and what happened to her are scattered throughout the game in the form of drawings left in post boxes and shards that the player must piece together.

However the player is not alone on this adventure, help comes in the form of the girl’s magical bunny, Otto.
The player must use both Albert and Otto in creative ways to traverse a haunting world. At the beginning of the story, Albert can shoot and jump, while Otto can fit through tight gaps and hold down power switches. But together, they unlock new skills such as a double jump, levitation, control of electrical currents, and more as the story unfolds.
