Alice in Stardom is a free visual novel that was created in approximately one month as a NaNoRenO game jam project and released on April 5, 2019. The store description explicitly describes it as a self-contained ~3 hour experience with a fixed set of routes and endings — it was designed and shipped as a complete, finished product from the start. The developer confirmed this framing in their April 27, 2020 news post, referring to Alice in Stardom as their "NaNoRenO visual novel we made last year with a small team completely for free in just a month" and a "game jam project." That same post announced the release of a separate, new game (Enamored Risks) — it was not an update to Alice in Stardom.
