Alien Robot Monsters launched on September 9, 2015 as a complete tower defense game with 31 levels, 6 bonus levels, 23 towers, and a full soundtrack. The developer shipped a handful of patches in the weeks immediately following release — a hotfix on September 10, a bug fix on September 12, a major balance and features patch on September 21, and a final balance patch on October 5, 2015. After that last update, there has been no further developer communication of any kind. The only DLC ever listed is the game's soundtrack, which released the day after launch on September 10, 2015. No additional content was ever announced, no roadmap was published, and no expansion or new content has been teased. The store description presents the game as a self-contained, fully-featured package. This is consistent with a game that launched complete and received a short post-launch polish period before the developer moved on. No further content is expected.

Alien Robot Monsters is an epic sci-fi tower defense action game with a 16-bit era look and feel. Somewhere in the future, humanity's desire to expand to the stars is yet again faced with expected adversity.
After finding an earth-like planet capable of sustaining a civilization, a colony ship is sent with a small detachment of space marines. However, the whole planet seems to be infested with hostile robotic life forms bent on removing all humans from the planet. The fate of humanity is in your hands!
