Alien Shooter is a classic top-down shooter that originally released on May 27, 2009. Two DLC packs were added to the game in 2019 — "Fight for Life" (March 29, 2019) and "The Experiment" (April 8, 2019) — both of which have shipped. Around the same time, the developer released a feature update on January 28, 2019 adding Steam achievements, leaderboards, and trading cards, followed by a bug fix on February 6, 2019. Both DLC entries are released, and no unreleased DLC exists in the store listing. The last developer communication of any kind was on February 6, 2019. There have been no posts, announcements, roadmaps, or hints of additional content in the years since. The store description describes a fixed set of features (10 missions, survival mode, 9 weapons) with no mention of future updates or ongoing content. The game launched as a complete product, received a content refresh in early 2019, and has been quiet ever since. The content is complete as of the final DLC release on April 8, 2019.

Your mission is simple: clear the base at all costs. You will be provided with explosives to help you gain access to the teleports from where thousands of pitiless creatures pour. A stationary gun will aid in the defense of the area. You have been granted access to the most advanced weapons technology money can buy. As you earn your pay, you can equip yourself with additional weapons in the arming area and biomechanical implants that will make your fighting abilities super human.
The alien invasion has begun, we have one chance, and that is to stop them cold in their staging area. Do not allow them escape this facility, you are our last hope. The fate of humanity now depends on you!
