All Aboard! The Train Defense Express launched into Early Access on March 3, 2025 and graduated to its full 1.0 release on June 26, 2025. The developer had outlined a roadmap during Early Access and systematically delivered on its commitments: the Relic system, new enemies, Hard mode, and Save/Continue were all shipped before or at 1.0 launch. Following the 1.0 release, the developer shipped a mobile version (iOS and Android) on August 7, 2025 alongside a new difficulty mode and UI overhaul, which represents the final major content release on record. A minor bug fix patch followed on August 12, 2025. Since then, there have been no developer announcements of additional content, no unreleased DLC on the store, and no roadmap pointing to future updates. The developer's pre-launch roadmap commitments have all been fulfilled. The game appears to have shipped as a complete product, with post-launch activity limited to bug fixes and the mobile port.

All Aboard! The Train Defense Express blends the best elements of auto-battlers, survivors, tower defense, and idle/clicker mechanics into a unique strategy experience. It’s easy to pick up, but hard to put down—don’t let its casual appearance fool you!

Your job is to protect the Infinite Power Generator by buying defensive train carriages to destroy incoming enemies, and economic train carriages to help generate gold. Choose carefully—only the right combination of carriages will allow you to survive the endless waves of enemies!

Level up your carriages by combining 3 of the same type and level to create even more powerful defenses! You can level up carriages infinitely, but it'll cost you.

It's essential to buy upgrades from the shop! Upgrade the value of gems so that each gem is worth more gold, and hire miners to automatically produce more gems for you.
