aMAZE ZER0 launched on July 28, 2017 as a finished maze puzzle game with 60 levels across three labyrinth types. A single DLC pack — "aMAZE ZERO - New Levels" — was released on April 24, 2018, adding additional content. On May 26, 2025, Blender Games published a substantial "Global Update" that overhauled level design throughout the game, added gamepad support, improved visuals and audio, revamped achievements, and integrated DLC access directly into the main menu. This represents the most recent direct update to aMAZE ZER0 itself. All DLC has been released, and no future content for this game has been announced. The developer (Blender Games) remains an active studio — their news feed shows a steady stream of new game launches throughout 2025 and into 2026 — but all of that activity is new titles in other series (Anime Dream Match, Lovely Anime Puzzle), not updates or expansions to aMAZE ZER0. The game is complete as a package with its base content, DLC, and the May 2025 update.
