An Outcry launched on January 5, 2022 as a complete narrative horror RPG with a defined scope: two major routes and five endings. The developer, Quinn K., released several patches in the months following launch to fix bugs and make quality-of-life improvements, culminating in a substantial free v2.0 overhaul on June 21, 2022 that added new content, artwork, animations, and gameplay elements. On March 12, 2023, version 3.0 shipped with an expanded ending and additional fixes, followed immediately by a hotfix the same day. These are the most recent communications from the developer. The store description presents the game as a finished, self-contained experience with clearly enumerated features and endings. The only DLC is a soundtrack pack released at launch. No future content has been announced, no roadmap exists, and the developer has not posted any updates since March 12, 2023. The game launched as a complete product and has since received polish updates — all of which have now concluded.
