Evaluation
Ancient Russian Life Simulator launched on December 15, 2023. Shortly after release, on December 21, 2023, the developer shipped a winter update that added a "final location" — described as the conclusion of the game's story, where the ancient Russians celebrate their victory over the lizards on their home planet. This framing strongly suggests the game's content arc was completed with that update. There are no DLC listings, no announced future content, no roadmap, and no unreleased content visible on the store. The developer has not posted any news or updates since December 21, 2023 — over two and a half years of silence. With only two post-launch communications (the release post and the winter update), there is no sustained update pattern to suggest ongoing development. The game appears to have launched as a compact, self-contained experience and was fully wrapped up within its first week on sale.
Evidence
Winter update added the 'final location,' completing the game's story arc with the Russians celebrating victory over the lizards on their home planet Nibiru. Also included balance fixes and bug fixes.
Game officially launched on December 15, 2023 with a 40% launch discount.
