Anime Clicker

Anime Clicker launched on October 30, 2024 and established a rapid, consistent update rhythm: Season 2 shipped December 2, 2024; Season 3 on January 3, 2025; Season 4 on February 1, 2025; Season 5 on March 7, 2025; Season 6 on April 14, 2025; and Season 7 on May 11, 2025. That's seven seasons in roughly six months, with each new season arriving every 3–6 weeks and often introducing new gameplay features alongside a fresh character drop pool. The last developer communication of any kind was the Season 7 post on May 11, 2025. As of September 24, 2026, that is more than 16 months of complete silence — a significant departure from a cadence that previously produced updates every few weeks. The developer has not posted a "final season" announcement or any statement explaining the pause. The store description still describes drop odds as "subject to change," suggesting the developer did not intend to close out the game, but no new content has materialized. Given the sharp break from a previously active update pattern and the absence of any developer communication since May 11, 2025, it is unclear whether further seasons are still in development or whether the game has quietly wound down.
