Novena Diabolos launched on April 26, 2020 as a complete occult mystery adventure game. The developer, H5DEV Games, subsequently produced one major expansion — Novena Diabolos: Another — which released on February 21, 2022, alongside an official soundtrack DLC (February 23, 2022). Both DLC entries are released, and no further DLC has been listed on the store. To celebrate the game's 4th anniversary in April 2024, the developer announced a new mini-animation series called "Novena Mini Theater," consisting of side-story episodes. The final (8th) episode of this series was released on December 3, 2025, completing that initiative. Importantly, in that same April 2024 anniversary post, the developer shifted focus explicitly toward a new project under the working title "O.D." — described as a spiritual successor sharing Novena Diabolos' worldview, rather than additional content for Novena Diabolos itself. There are no unreleased DLC entries on the store, no roadmap or announcement of further content for Novena Diabolos, and the developer's own communications make clear their next work is a separate game. The mini-animation series has concluded. The game appears to be content-complete as of the DLC release in February 2022, with the animation series serving as a celebratory supplement that has now also wrapped up.
