봄이 오면 꽃이 피고 (Lady of Hwarang) is a Korean-language detective adventure game set in the Silla Dynasty, currently in Early Access. It launched on March 22, 2024, and received patches through mid-2024. The most recent developer communication was on July 1, 2024, when TeamOGM released version 2.20 — a feature patch that added ending roll skips, character keyword systems, and additional character episodes. That post also stated that the game's transition to a full (1.0) release was being delayed by tax/administrative issues, and that the developer would announce separately when the switch happened.
No further posts have appeared since July 1, 2024. [Lady of Hwarang] is a detective adventure game with romatic scenarios, based on the story of ‘Hwarang’ in Silla Dynasty, old Korea.
The soul of protagonist travels back to her previous life as Wonhwa in Silla to solve the mystery of The murder mystery of two Wonhwa, Junjeong and Nammo. With the help of Hwarangs, known as ‘Flowering Knights’, the protagonist looks into the dark past hidden behind the case.
By investigating through the case to vindicate yourself as a murderer of Nammo, the truth will be in your hand even before you notice yourself.
The gameplay of [Lady of Hwarang] is made of four systems: Training, Conversation, Investigation and Questioning.
As Wonhwa, the Original Flower of Seorabeol, you hold heavy duties to keep your dignity: you have to train hard to win the King’s test held every month, interact with Hwarangs to be your most trusted partners while remaining vigilant to find the evidence of Wonhwa murder mystery and survive from the threats lurking around you.
(1) Training
Choose your course everyday to enhance your ability, to win the competition of Wonhwa held in front of the King.
(2) Conversation
After the training, have a small talk with your Hwarangs in Seorabeol ― the interaction will strengthen the bond with him, and even lead to special moments of two.
(3) Investigation
Look into every parts of Seorabeol and collect evidences from place and people. You can reach the truth by comparing the differences between the written history and the present you live in.
(4) Questioning
You have to deal wisely with people who doubts, threats or conciliates you. Once you provide correct answer with the correct evidence, it will lead you to the victory.
