Artis Impact launched on August 7, 2025 as a solo-developed story-driven RPG by Mas. The launch was a strong commercial success, selling over 10,000 copies within 24 hours. The day after launch (August 8, 2025), Mas published a detailed post addressing player feedback and outlining future plans. In it, the developer explicitly stated that "Akane's adventure is far from over" and described a roadmap for upcoming content updates: new explorable areas and additional side quests for the Meiji Spa and Winterlake locations — areas currently present in the game but not fully developed. This is a clear developer commitment to post-launch content additions. Since launch, Mas has been actively patching the game, shipping updates in August 2025 (v1.10, v1.11, v1.12), September 2025 (v1.13), and January 2026 (v1.14). These patches have addressed bugs, added Steam Achievements, overhauled the weapon upgrade system, added difficulty modes, and expanded language support to include Italian, Spanish, and French. The most recent developer communication was on January 5, 2026. The developer has not made any subsequent statement walking back or completing the promised content additions, so the August 8, 2025 roadmap commitment remains outstanding.
