Bahamut 2 - Dragon's Bride launched on September 30, 2021 and received two paid DLC releases: a dinosaur pet DLC on June 30, 2022, and an expanded story chapter (Celia's Diary) on November 10, 2022. Both DLC are fully released and nothing further is listed on the store.
In a January 18, 2023 developer update, the solo developer (王韋) explicitly stated that development focus had shifted to a new project — tentatively titled "Bahamut 2 - Side Story" — and acknowledged that Bahamut 3 planning was also on hold pending an engine change. The developer expressed deep gratitude to players and described Bahamut 2 as a work they were "quite satisfied with," language consistent with considering the game complete.
Subsequent news posts from the developer (November 2024 and January 2025) are entirely focused on a separate game, Bahamut 1 - REMAKE, confirming the developer's attention has moved on.
