Bail or Jail launched on July 20, 2022 and received a steady stream of updates through its post-launch life. The developer shipped new maps, characters, lanterns, and seasonal event content through a series of patches, alongside four paid DLC packs — the last of which (Character Pack 3) released on October 25, 2023. After that point, the update cadence shifted noticeably: patches in 2024 added seasonal events and event maps but no new characters, maps, or substantial gameplay content. The most recent developer communication was a security-only bug fix on October 22, 2025 (patching a Unity vulnerability), with no new gameplay content. All four DLC packs have shipped, no unreleased DLC is listed on the store, and the developer has made no announcements about future content. The last substantive content — DLC Pack 3 and the associated Ver.1.5.0 patch — shipped on October 25, 2023. Patches since then have been maintenance-level (event maps and bug fixes), and the gap since any meaningful content addition now extends well past the historical release cadence. There is no indication from the developer that further content is planned.
