Evaluation

BAIONLENJA is a solo-developed first-person adventure game currently in Early Access. It launched on May 20, 2025 and has been receiving consistent, substantial updates ever since. Four major content updates have shipped post-launch: the first content update on June 20, 2025 (adding new areas and enemies for Chapter 3), a large hub world and progression overhaul on September 22, 2025, BAIONLENJA 06 on May 19, 2026 (a sweeping rework of all levels, sectors, combat, story, and the addition of an ending), and — released today, August 21, 2026 — BRAINPOOLZ, which adds a mandatory new B-HOP level, a sandbox area, surfing mechanics, save slots, a new HUD, and a full logistics sector overhaul. Between these major drops, the developer has shipped numerous feature patches covering combat overhauls, new difficulty modes, photo mode, and quality-of-life improvements. The developer's own post for BAIONLENJA 06 on May 19, 2026 stated "I basically finished the entire game. But I'm not done yet, as I find myself coursing with power" — confirming that while the game reached a more complete state, development is explicitly continuing. Today's BRAINPOOLZ update confirms that continuation in practice. The game remains in Early Access with no announcement of a 1.0 release date or final update. Updates have arrived at a cadence of roughly every 3–6 months for major content, with feature patches in between.
Evidence
