Baladins launched on Steam on May 15, 2024. Since then, the developer (Seed by Seed) has delivered meaningful post-launch content: a major feature patch (v1.1) on June 21, 2024; a large free content update on January 30, 2025 that added an entirely new region (Roazay), new characters, new items, and new features; and console ports for Nintendo Switch, PS4, and PS5 that launched on February 19, 2026.
The last official communication from the developer was on June 11, 2025, when they confirmed they had finished work on their other game (Jump the Track) and were returning to Baladins. That post explicitly stated: "Expect a bigger update coming soon." This is a direct promise of additional content.
However, as of October 1, 2026 — more than 15 months after that June 11, 2025 post — no further update has appeared, and the developer has posted nothing else. The promised "bigger update" has not shipped, and no explanation has been given for the delay or silence. Given the studio's previously regular communications, this extended silence following a concrete promise is a meaningful concern. The content commitment stands, but it is unclear whether development is actively continuing on schedule.

It’s a difficult task, but one the Baladins take in stride. From helping those in need to throwing parties, they bring surprises with them wherever their travels take them. All that matters to them is bringing joy to the people who inhabit the bright and lively world of Gatherac.
Embark on your quest as one of the Baladins: the imaginative Cook, the crafty Luxomancer, the strapping Dancer, the expressive Pyro, or the ever-charismatic Bard. United by their passion for happiness, each Baladin brings their own unique skills to the table and can hone their talents further throughout the adventure by making choices and collecting items.
Inspired by tabletop roleplaying campaigns, Baladins is a choose-your-own-story game for players of all ages and experience levels. Roll the dice and see where your adventures take you. Your decisions are not inherently good or bad – just creative approaches that can lead to interesting outcomes!
And if you’d rather not play alone, Baladins supports up to four players–either locally or online!
