BalanCity launched on September 21, 2016 and received a steady stream of updates in the months following release. The developer shipped six major content additions — including the Halloween "Nightmare Scenario" (October 28, 2016), the Shanghai Scenario (June 22, 2017), and the Seattle Scenario (August 7, 2017) — alongside several feature patches and bug fixes. The last developer communication of any kind was the Seattle Scenario post on August 7, 2017. No updates, announcements, or developer communications have appeared since that date. The only DLC (the Original Soundtrack) was released on December 21, 2016 and no unreleased DLC exists on the store.
