Ballistic Tanks launched on September 20, 2016 and received a handful of updates over the following years, including two major content expansions: the Airstrike Update (April 10, 2017), which added a new game mode, and the Arcade Expansion (September 18, 2017), which added new enemies and levels. On August 30, 2019, the developer posted a patch titled "Patch 1.4 - THE FINAL UPDATE," explicitly stating "this will be THE FINAL update of this game" and "It's been a fun ride everyone!" This is a direct developer statement marking the end of development. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no outstanding content commitments, and no post-2019 developer communications. The game shipped as a complete product and the developer has formally closed the book on it.
