Banana Cat

Banana Cat is a free-to-play clicker game built around an ongoing collectible economy. Players click a "catnana" and periodically receive randomly-dropped catnanas in their Steam inventory, which can be sold on the Steam marketplace. This structure — timed drops, rarity tiers, marketplace integration, rotating craftable recipes, and time-limited seasonal items — is designed to keep players engaged indefinitely. The developer has continuously refreshed the game since its July 7, 2024 launch. A new Flappy Cat mini-game mode was added on July 16, 2024. A crafting system launched on July 29, 2024. Two new catnanas were added on November 15, 2024. A limited-time Santa Banana seasonal drop ran from December 20, 2025 through December 26, 2025, establishing a pattern of time-limited holiday collectibles. Most recently, the "Big Banana Update" on September 3, 2026 added 19 new catnanas across all rarity tiers, introduced a new in-game shop item (Mystical Banana), and delivered a large batch of bug fixes and performance improvements. The developer has posted at least five substantial updates since launch, with the most recent on September 3, 2026 — just six days before today. There is no indication the developer intends to stop adding content; on the contrary, the cadence of updates has remained consistent and the September 2026 update was the largest yet.
