Bankrupt Heroines launched on October 15, 2020 as a solo-developer side-scrolling action platformer. Following launch, the developer posted two patches in November 2020 — a bug fix on November 14 and a feature patch adding key customization on November 29, 2020. After that, developer activity on this game effectively ceased. The only post from 2022 (April 9, 2022) was an announcement for a brand new, unrelated game called "Duks," signaling that TTeokLeaf had moved on to a new project rather than continuing to develop Bankrupt Heroines. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no roadmap, no announced future content, and no ongoing update pattern beyond the initial post-launch polish period. The game appears to have launched as a complete, self-contained product and was finished in its current form by late November 2020.
