Barbarian Souls launched on January 1, 2018 and received a series of updates over the following years: new levels in July 2018, another level batch in March 2019, a feature update adding an inventory and weapons in May 2019, and language additions for Portuguese in August 2020 and German in October 2020. The German language addition on October 16, 2020 is the last recorded developer communication. Since then — through June 2026 — there have been no further posts, announcements, or updates of any kind. The developer's activity pattern was never frequent, but updates did trickle out for about two and a half years post-launch. With nearly six years of silence since the last update and no outstanding announced content, the game appears to have reached the end of its content lifecycle.

It’s time to attack! The barbarians are invading different parts of the world, and it’s up to you to stop them. Leave no one alive.
Barbarian Souls drew inspiration from the combat system of Dark Souls. To survive, you must fight, defend yourself, or avoid enemy blows. You are armed only with your sword (to beat your enemies) and your shield (to block attacks). Be careful not to get injured too badly—you don't have time or potions to heal your wounds. Approach enemies with caution or they will kill you easily.
This is an action game that you must fight to survive, defend or avoid enemy blows and attack at the right time.
In this game, you must defend and evade to be able to successfully complete your missions. If you don't use your shield to defend OR your legs to avoid enemy attacks, you will be no match for your enemies.
Travel through the land to face and defeat the barbarians, encountering different environments, forests, deserts, mountains, castles, villages, and much more.
Begin your journey to conquer the world.

Don't just attack without thought. Some enemies will inflict heavy damage on you if you attack without a strategy, some enemies will open their guard for
