Evaluation

Barfender entered Early Access on October 12, 2026 and is still being built. The developer has published a roadmap toward a full 1.0 release targeted for Spring 2027. On launch day the developer stated that everyone who buys the game in Early Access will receive all of the upcoming content at no extra cost. Content not yet shipped includes advanced bartending with more drinks, ice and cooling systems, a kitchen with items such as fries, burgers and pizza, new staff roles and management options, side quests and storylines including Fight Club, venue upgrades such as pool, darts and arcade machines, new customer behaviors and a deeper progression system. The September 29, 2026 roadmap post also lists live Twitch chat integration and a large Casino expansion planned for the full release. The developer shipped a large demo update on October 8, 2026, which indicates ongoing development work. The most recent developer posts are dated October 12, 2026.
