Evaluation

Bash the Teacher! launched on January 13, 2022 as a casual idle-clicker game. Within the first month, on January 20, 2022, the developer announced upcoming content including new teachers, weapons, and other upgrades. That content was delivered on February 18, 2022, with the addition of two new teachers, multiple upgrade tiers, and 38 new Steam achievements. The store description reflects all of this content as part of the shipped game (three teachers, full upgrade trees, pets, and desk items). Since that February 2022 update, there have been no further content additions to this game. The developer's most recent post, from September 2, 2025, announces a separate new game — "Feed the School!" — described as a spin-off set in a cafeteria. This announcement is focused entirely on that new title and does not mention any additional content coming to Bash the Teacher!. The game appears to have been a self-contained, finished product since February 2022, with the developer now directing their energy toward a follow-up project.

Evidence

Developer released a major content update adding 2 new teachers, 8 weapon upgrades, 8 pet upgrades, 8 desk item upgrades, a new points system, and 38 Steam achievements — fulfilling the content announced on January 20, 2022.
