Bazaar Simulator entered Steam Early Access on January 30, 2025, and has been developed by a single developer at Mithra Interactive. The game received steady patches through early 2025, followed by a more substantial v0.5a update on July 13, 2025, which added a full fishing system, a worker system, UI overhauls, and new language support. A small follow-up patch (v0.5b) shipped on July 17, 2025. In the July 13, 2025 post, the developer acknowledged a period of reduced communication, explained it was caused by complex multiplayer challenges, and committed to a new approach of smaller, more frequent updates going forward. That same post explicitly announced the next major content drop: the ability for players to open their own shop. This feature has not been delivered. As of October 1, 2026, no developer communication of any kind has appeared since July 17, 2025 — over 14 months of silence. This directly contradicts the developer's stated commitment to stronger, more frequent communication, and the promised shop feature remains undelivered with no update on its status. The store's short description still reads "Much more is coming soon," but no developer activity has accompanied that promise in over a year. Given the outstanding commitment and extended silence from a solo developer, the status of ongoing development cannot be confirmed.
