Beat Banger is an Early Access game that the developer explicitly describes as incomplete, with more levels planned for future versions. The store page states that only four levels are currently available and that more will be added in future versions. The developer has been actively communicating throughout, with the latest post arriving on October 1, 2026. In the October 1, 2026 post announcing Makayla's level, the developer explicitly named what comes next: "Up next is Jasmine's level. The pipeline we built for Makayla should make hers go a lot smoother." This is a clear, named commitment to additional content still in production. The post also closes with "One more character level to go," which refers to Jasmine's level, leaving the Volume 2 character arc still unfinished. Beyond Jasmine's level, the developer stated in the August 2025 Zoe Volume 2 post that after Volume 2 is complete, they plan to revamp animations from Volume 1 levels and add animations to levels that didn't receive enough attention, specifically naming Gale's level. The (S)EXP rank system introduced in September 2025 was also described as providing a mechanism for unlocking secret levels and character interactions in future updates. The studio is clearly active: a major feature patch shipped on September 18, 2026 overhauling the mod browser and level editor, and the October 1, 2026 major content release is the most recent update. There is no ambiguity about the development status — the developer has named the next piece of content and is actively shipping updates.
