Beautiful Japanese Scenery - Animated Jigsaws launched on September 15, 2016 as a self-contained jigsaw puzzle game featuring 10 animated scenes of Japanese scenery. The developer issued a couple of minor patches in December 2016 — adding trading cards on December 14 and releasing a language/bug-fix update on December 22, 2016. That December 22, 2016 patch represents the last update specifically for this game.
After that, the developer's communications shifted to promoting other titles in their lineup — a sequel ("Japanese Women - Animated Jigsaws") announced in April 2017, and a separate free-to-play game ("Jigsaw Masterpieces") announced in March 2019. Neither of these constitutes new content for Beautiful Japanese Scenery itself.
No DLC, expansions, roadmaps, or future content commitments were ever announced for this game. The store description presents a fixed feature set with no indication of planned additions. The game launched as a complete, finished product and has received no substantive updates since December 2016. There is no indication from the developer that any further content is planned.
