About this game

You are the god in a writer’s mind, constantly watching and controlling their every move during the creative process, while also determining the direction and ending of the story they write. This is a story about a group of people who get lost in a snowy winter storm. A remote village, a suddenly appearing cabin, a reclusive family, and wolves howling through the night—they all drive this lost group of travelers toward a crossroads of their fate.

Gameplay

This is a short visual novel game where dear players can read the story text, make choices that branch the plot, and trigger different game endings.

The story based on

The story originates from a physical horror escape room, where each character in the story was once played by a real person. I created this story during the peak of the global COVID-19 pandemic, a time when the escape room business we ran was ultimately unable to survive the impact of the pandemic, leading to its closure in the second half of 2023.

Now, I want to turn this story into a small digital game as a way to preserve these precious memories."
