Beeftacular

Beeftacular launched on August 26, 2016 as a complete fast-paced platformer. After release, the developer shipped one meaningful content update (Update 1.1 on September 13, 2016, adding difficulty settings, new secret levels, a free demo, and a price drop) and a patch bundle in March 2017 fixing workshop visibility bugs and tweaking an achievement. The last developer communication of any kind was on March 11, 2017 — a patch post. A news post from October 2017 promoted an entirely separate game (Invisibox) with no mention of continued Beeftacular development. Before launch, the developer shared a wishlist of potential future content (new level packs, improved level editor, new skins, etc.), but explicitly conditioned all of it on the game's commercial success and framed it as speculative. No specific post-launch content was ever formally announced or committed to, and none of the wishlist items were subsequently delivered beyond what shipped in the September 2016 update. The developer's attention has clearly moved on to other projects. With only two minor post-launch updates over roughly seven months and no developer communication since March 11, 2017, the game has been effectively complete for years. The Steam Workshop integration and built-in level editor provide ongoing community-generated content, but the developer is no longer actively developing the game itself.
