Beyond the Portal: Island's Salvation launched on July 4, 2024. Following release, the developer (ExoFiroGames) issued a series of updates: two feature patches in July 2024 (versions 2.1 and 2.2) addressing accessibility improvements and balance adjustments, a bug-fix patch in August 2024 (version 2.3), and finally a feature patch in January 2025 (version 2.4) adding Traditional Chinese and Simplified Chinese language support. The January 2025 update is the most recent developer communication on record. There are no unreleased DLC listings, no announced roadmaps, no stated plans for future content, and no post-launch major content drops beyond the launch itself. The updates since release have been maintenance- and polish-focused rather than substantive new content. With no further developer communication since January 13, 2025 — over 17 months ago — and no outstanding commitments or announced content, the game appears to have launched as a complete product and reached its final polished state with the version 2.4 update.
