Bite Night is a short (~30 minute) comedic horror game that launched on June 13, 2024. After launch, the developer added Steam achievements and quality-of-life improvements through October 8, 2024, which appears to be the last update to the base game itself. The developer has since moved on to building out a series of follow-up titles under the MyGrandfather Games umbrella — including Invasion of the Halloween Fiends, Hell of a Birthday, and a full sequel, Bite Night: Dine or Die, which launched on January 20, 2026. No further content for the original Bite Night has been announced or is pending. The sequel's existence confirms the developer considers the original game a complete, standalone experience.

About this game

Bite Night is a comedic first-person horror game that explores the idea of what if the big scary monster was bad at being big and scary. You play as a gas station attendant who must work the night shift in a rural gas station when things start to go bump in the night. You must try to juggle your responsibilities as a worker while dealing with a monster who may be much less scary and more of a pain in the neck but no one knows how many monsters lurk in the night.
