Bits & Bops launched on December 9, 2025 as a collection of over 20 original rhythm mini-games. Since launch, Tempo Lab Games has maintained a very active update cadence, shipping multiple feature patches across the months following release. Key post-launch additions include Steam Workshop integration for custom community-made mixtapes (March 25, 2026), a full custom mixtape player with import support and sorting features (June 4, 2026), a community mixtape competition with guest judges, new language support (German, Polish, Spanish), accessibility improvements, and numerous gameplay refinements. The most recent update (June 27, 2026) bundled quality-of-life improvements and editor fixes in response to community feedback from the mixtape contest. In every update post, the developer explicitly states they are "continuing to take on feedback and prioritise features and fixes" — an ongoing commitment to improving the game. No announcement has been made that development or post-launch support has concluded.
