Blacksmith Simulator Prologue is a free, standalone preview of the full Blacksmith Simulator game. The store description and short description explicitly describe it as a limited, intentionally scoped introduction — covering only the first ~2 hours and a handful of quests from the full game. It was designed and released as a complete, finished promotional demo, not a game expecting further content of its own.
The prologue launched on January 6, 2025. A small patch shipped on January 19, 2025 with bug fixes, followed by a balance and feature patch on January 20, 2025. The full game, Blacksmith Simulator, then launched on January 21, 2025 — the event the prologue was built to promote. Subsequent news posts from the publisher are about entirely different games (DeathOmen, Restaurant Owner, Builders of Greece), with nothing referencing further development of the prologue itself.
