Evaluation

Blazing Beaks launched out of Early Access on May 10, 2019 with its v1.0 release. The developers (Eduardas and Tomas) then delivered two substantial post-launch content updates: v1.1 on December 5, 2019 (adding new characters, artifacts, enemies, items, and a Challenges mode) and v1.2 on May 8, 2020 (adding new weapons and active abilities for the game's one-year anniversary). After May 2020, no further content updates were released for Blazing Beaks. The only developer communication since then was a May 5, 2026 announcement — not about Blazing Beaks content, but about the team's brand new game, Dirtlight, which is currently in mid-development. This shift to announcing a new project is consistent with the developers having wrapped up work on Blazing Beaks. The single released DLC is the game's original soundtrack, which shipped alongside the v1.0 launch and is purely supplementary. All content for the base game appears to have been completed with the v1.2 update in May 2020.
Evidence
Developers announced an entirely new game called Dirtlight (a metroidvania), stating they are currently in mid-development. This is the first developer communication since May 2020, and it is about a new project rather than any new content for Blazing Beaks.
